Mindfulness Meditation: Self-Compassion Series

Del Ray Psych and Wellness welcomes back Kristine Eelkema, ACC, for a Mindfulness Meditation series focused on building self-compassion.

Individuals who are more self-compassionate tend to be more resilient when dealing with life's stressors, have greater happiness, life satisfaction, motivation, and better overall physical health. In this workshop series, you will learn about importance of self-care, be exposed to different perspectives of self-care from leaders in the field, and be led through mindfulness meditation and other exercises to help you build the skills that will help you respond to challenging times in your life with kindness and care. Participants will be provided with weekly homework exercises in between sessions to help enhance their practice.

The series consists of 4 weekly zoom meetings from 7-8pm, beginning on Monday, February 8th. The total cost is $125. Payment is collected at registration and our office will send Zoom information before the series begins.*

Kristine is a Life and Leadership Coach as well as a business consultant. She has degrees from Rochester Institute of Technology and Johns Hopkins University in Behavioral Science. In recent years, Kristine has shifted her practice to helping clients/organizations manage change through mindfulness by offering a strength-based approach that focuses on self-awareness to live your best life.
