A 2- Week Zoom Workshop beginning July 26th

In this virtual workshop, led by Andrada Florescu - Graduate Counseling Intern at Del Ray Psych & Wellness, high school seniors and college students will learn about anxiety, its effects on your body and mind and important emotional problem-solving skills to handle the challenges that come with it.
During the first session, participants will be introduced to the science behind anxiety and explore how meditation such as Mindfulness RAIN and Loving Kindness can help decrease anxious feelings and improve wellbeing during stressful college/ school experiences.
In the second session, participants will learn coping skills to address stress-related changes in lifestyle, increased workload, new responsibilities and interpersonal relationships. The group will also address tools to improve time management, creating SMART goals and setting priorities.
