Marriage and Couples Counseling
Relationships can be challenging and, during difficult times, many couples seek therapeutic intervention to provide guidance, effective communication skills, and often mediation that help strengthen their relational ties. Rather than refereeing conflicts or “fixing” partners, we provide a safe space to help facilitate a conversation that seeks to rebuild trust, improve communication, and renew emotional connection.
In couples counseling, clients will learn the skills to:
compassionately manage their conflicts
deepen their intimacy
empower dialogue
process their fights and heal their hurts
We combine some of the most proven approached to couples counseling to effectively guide couples through the difficult times including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution- focused Therapy and The Gottman Method.
The Gottman Method
Our Gottman-trained clinicians use over 40 years of evidence-based research .
The Gottman Method is designed to support couples across all economic, racial, sexual orientation, and cultural sectors. Outcome research has shown Gottman Method Couples Therapy to be effective for treating same-sex relationships.
